In her book 'SHUNGITE - Protection, Healing, and Detoxification',  Regina Martino cites many double-blind scientific and medical studies on Shungite.  She explores how Shungite acts as a natural antioxidant, immune booster, pain reliever and allergen suppressant as well as detoxifier and revitalizer.  She reveals how Shungite contains fullerenes which recent research indicates may slow both the growth of cancer cells and the development of AIDS.  

These Shungite stone pads may be one of the most powerful healing tools for pain relief, circulation and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis,. It also aids in regeneration and promoting general health and wellness.  The pads may be placed anywhere on the body especially those places that need healing the most.  One may also rest or meditate while sitting or laying on the pad.  Other applications include sitting or resting one's feet on the pad while at a computer. Sitting on the pads while driving will offer protection from EMFs and geopathic stressors as well as to help provide grounding and prevent fatigue.

Be aware that raw Shungite may leave black dust (like a black soot) on hands and anything it touches if not tumbled, polished or well oiled.
